We Need Your Help
Only through your support can we expect this event to be a huge success in making Mount Pearl beautiful! Please lend a hand for just 20 minutes. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Waterford River Clean Up
Annually, the city holds a Clean-Up Blitz along the Waterford River.
The City of Mount Pearl is holding a launch event for the 20 Minute Makeover and the Waterford River Clean-Up, both sponsored by Tim Hortons, on Saturday, May 11th from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.
We are looking for volunteers – including businesses, residents, and community groups – to help pick up litter and small debris around Powers Pond and along the Waterford River banks.
Meet us at the Powers Pond Boat House for 10:00 am to sign-up, receive supplies and commence clean-up. Afterwards, join members of Council at Powers Pond Park for treats, pizza, a bouncy castle, and more!
