Event Invite

There is always something happening in Mount Pearl. If you would like the Mayor to attend an event in our community, please submit your invitation in writing, either by e-mail below or by letter to:

Invites should include

  • Date, time and location of your event
  • Contact information, including name, phone number and address
  • Event details including the role you would like the Mayor to play (eg. speech, ribbon cutting, attendance only, etc.)

The Mayor’s schedule is booked at least two weeks in advance. The more notice you can provide, the greater the likelihood that the Mayor will be able to attend your event. The Deputy City Clerk will contact you to confirm attendance or extend regrets.

Requesting a certificate

We provide congratulatory certificates to individuals, groups, businesses and other organizations in Mount Pearl to commemorate anniversaries, birthdays, official openings and other special honours.

If you would like to request a certificate, please include the following details:

  • Type of certificate requested
  • Name and address of recipient
  • Date of celebration
  • Your name, phone number and e-mail
  • How you would like to receive the certificate (mailed or picked up)
  • Please enter your e-mail address, subject and message, and click the "Submit" button. If your request requires follow-up, please be sure to include your full name, day-time phone number and any relevant address information in the text of your e-mail message.
