NOTICE OF TENTATIVE BRIEFING SESSION

PROPOSED DISCRETIONARY USE – GROUP CHILD CARE USE | DA24-0552 – 29 LANCASTER CRESCENT

BRIEFING SESSION – MONDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2024, 7:00PM | COUNCIL CHAMBERS, CITY HALL – 3 CENTENNIAL STREET

The City is in receipt of a Discretionary Use application to operate a Group Child Care Use at 29 Lancaster Crescent. The applicant proposes to utilize a portion of the dwelling to provide child care services. The proposed hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm. There will be visitors to the home twice a day to drop off and pick-up children. The proposed use is within the range of uses that Council may permit at the subject property at its discretion, subject to Regulation 4.17, requiring public notice.

Prior to making their decision, Council invites comments in writing no later than 12:00 NOON, FRIDAY, October 4, 2024. Comments can be forwarded to the below contact, comments received form part of the public record. If you do not wish your name to be attributed to your submission, please advise the City.

Should no comments or expression of attendance be received, the briefing session will be cancelled.
