Proposed Home Occupation (Discretionary Use) DA22-0175 – 10 Westbrook Landing

Briefing Session – Wednesday, February 15, 2023 (7pm) at City Hall (3 Centennial Street)

The city is in receipt of an application by Jennifer Benson Music to operate a music lesson business at 10 Westbrook Landing. The educational use involves one-on-one lessons Monday through Friday between 3pm and 8:30pm, with approximately 10 students daily. The property is zoned Residential – Medium Density (RMD) and Home Occupation is a Discretionary Use, subject to Regulation 4.17, requiring public notice, and is within the range of uses that Council may permit at its discretion.

Prior to making their decision, Council invites comments in writing no later than 12:00 noon, Friday, February 10, 2023. Comments received form part of the public record. If you do not wish your name attributed to your submission, please advise the city.

Should no comments be received, the briefing session will be cancelled.
