Street Upgrading – Badcock Place
PROJECT DETAILS
Badcock Place has been selected by the City of Mount Pearl to undergo full rehabilitation, including replacement of all underground infrastructure (sanitary/storm/water), removal and replacement of curb, gutter, asphalt and reinstatement of landscaping, driveways, and any other items affected during construction. In addition, Newfoundland Power and utility assets within the construction zone will also be removed and upgraded, including the installation of temporary services during construction. Landscaping and driveways impacted by construction will be restored. This affected area generally ranges from 0.5m to 1.5m back from curb. City Inspectors will take photos before, during and after construction to ensure proper restoration.
Construction is expected to begin in May and will be completed within the 2021 construction season. If you have any questions or concerns, please email engineeringservices@mountpearl.ca or call 748-1016. Our contractors, Pyramid Construction Ltd, can be reached at 576-8802 during construction. Thank you for your ongoing patience and cooperation. If you are considering a driveway replacement or upgrade, now might be a good time to have the work done. If you are thinking about this, please contact Pyramid or other contractors for pricing and the City for required permits.
