Air Travel
Mount Pearl is located approximately 18km or 15 minute from the St. John’s International Airport, which connects the City with the rest of the world. For information on flights inside and outside the province please see the airport website.
Ferry Travel
The city is also located 898km or 9.5 hours from the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal in Port-aux-Basques. This service connects Newfoundland to the rest of Canada by sea. There is also a ferry terminal located in Argentia which is 123km or 1.5 hours from Mount Pearl. The Argentia ferry runs on a seasonal schedule. Bus Service
Mount Pearl is integrated with the St. John’s Regional Transportation System. This system operates Metrobus which runs seven days a week, on a 'cash' or 'pass' basis. Passes can be purchased for 10 rides or monthly time periods. The cash rate for the bus is $2.25 per ride. Taxi Service
Mount Pearl has two privately owned cab companies: Valley Cabs and Pearl City Cabs. These companies run can be used for transport around the City or for trips to and from St. John’s/Mount Pearl. However, if you are in St. John’s and you need to move within their City limits, you must call a St. John’s taxicab.
