The Department of Corporate Services provides a wide range of support services to all other city departments and to the citizens of Mount Pearl. More specifically, Corporate Services is comprised of three divisions as follows:
Finance - This division is responsible for the financial management of the City. This includes financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipting, taxation, budgeting, debt management, and investments.
Human Resources – This division is responsible for the management of our human resources. This encompasses employee recruitment, engagement, retention, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, occupational health and safety, training, collective bargaining and labour relations.
Information Technology – This division is responsible for the City’s computer, communication and security systems. This includes the installation and maintenance of the City’s financial management and other systems, website, phone systems, video surveillance and e-technologies.
